Privacy Policy

How Low Quality Interactive handles website information, messages, and records from our Roblox experiences.

Last updated October 2, 2026

Privacy contact: contact@lowqualityinteractive.com

At a glance

  • You can browse our website without creating an account. Cloudflare receives technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. We do not sell personal information or use website advertising trackers.
  • Theme, motion, language, and cookie-notice preferences last no more than 180 days when saved or migrated to the current settings. Reading a saved preference does not renew it.
  • Localized pages are served as website content. The website does not send page text, your IP address, or other visitor information to a runtime third-party machine-translation service.
  • Our retention limits are 12 months after resolution for support emails and privacy inquiries, 3 months from creation for general game logs, and 6 months from creation for anti-cheat and security logs. We delete records sooner when required.
  • Use contact@lowqualityinteractive.com for privacy requests, including requests about a child. We can locate and delete Studio-held records using relevant Roblox account and experience information, subject to lawful preservation requirements.

This policy is maintained in English and published in the supported website languages. Localized text is prepared before publication. The website does not use a runtime third-party machine-translation service.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

1.1 Our role

Low Quality Interactive (LQI) is an independent developer group operating in the United States and subject to applicable U.S. law. Other privacy laws may also apply. Our location does not remove rights that another applicable law gives you.

This policy covers lowqualityinteractive.com, messages sent to us, and the Studio-held Roblox game records described below. We are responsible for the personal information we control. Roblox and other independent platforms remain responsible for information they control themselves.

1.2 What browsing does not require

You do not need a website account to read our pages. The website has no registration, checkout, newsletter sign-up, public comment form, or file-upload form. Contact links open separate communication services.

We do not sell personal information. The website does not use targeted advertising, cross-site advertising trackers, session replay, or a dedicated visitor-analytics service. Cloudflare may still process traffic and security information to deliver the site.

2. Information we use and why

2.1 How to read the table

The table maps the information involved in each activity to its source, purpose, recipients, legal basis, and retention. Not every activity applies to every visitor. Browser preferences, public text, correspondence, and Roblox logs are different types of information.

The GDPR references apply only where that law governs the processing. Legitimate interests means a necessary, proportionate use that must be balanced against your rights, with particular care for children. Contract performance applies only where a valid agreement with us makes the processing necessary. A Roblox account alone does not prove that every Studio activity is contractually necessary.

A lawful basis for using information does not replace separate cookie, child-privacy, or international-transfer requirements. The specific purposes listed here are not permission to add unrelated tracking or uses.

2.2 Information sent with a page request

Cloudflare receives requests for pages and files. Your browser can send technical information such as your IP address, browser type, language, and requested address. A browser may also load an eligible page in advance when you hover over a link, even if you do not open it.

Do not put passwords, private messages, or account security information in a website address. We do not ask the website to access your precise location, microphone, camera, address book, or personal files.

Information, purposes, recipients, legal bases, and retention
Activity and informationSourcePurposeWho receives itLegal basis where requiredRetention

Website delivery: IP address, browser and device information (including User Agent), requested page or file, request time, language headers, referring information when supplied, and response or security details.

Your browser and the connection used to reach the website.

Deliver requested pages, maintain availability, and prevent abuse.

Cloudflare and relevant network providers; the Studio where operational records are made available to us.

Legitimate interests in delivering and securing the website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

No separate visitor-log database on the website. Any Studio-held operational copy: maximum 30 days from creation. Cloudflare's own retention is separate and is not verified here.

Functional cookies: chosen theme, motion setting, language, and acknowledgment of the cookie notice.

Your choices, including previously saved choices migrated by this update.

Remember website settings and avoid repeating the notice.

Your browser; eligible cookies may also reach Cloudflare with website requests.

Legitimate interests in remembering settings you request (Article 6(1)(f)); separate cookie-consent requirements still apply where required.

Maximum 180 days from the choice or one-time migration, unless deleted sooner. No renewal just for reading a cookie.

Browser presentation settings: preferred languages, light or dark appearance, and reduced-motion preference.

Settings reported by your browser or operating system.

Choose a suitable page language and display settings without requiring an account.

Used within your browser; the selected page address and ordinary request information reach the host.

Legitimate interests in accessible, usable website presentation (Article 6(1)(f)).

Used for the current page. We do not save inferred settings as cookies unless you make a choice.

Support and business messages: sender name, email address, message text, attachments, timestamps, and platform identifiers you include.

You and the communication service you use.

Answer questions, investigate reports, and handle requested business discussions.

The Studio, Porkbun as the Studio's email provider, and any communication service used by the sender.

Legitimate interests in answering correspondence (Article 6(1)(f)); contract performance or requested pre-contract steps only where applicable (Article 6(1)(b)).

Permanently delete Studio-controlled copies no later than 12 months after resolution, unless legal preservation is required.

Privacy and parental requests: contact details, relevant account or record identifiers, limited authority or identity-verification information, the request, and our response.

You or your authorized representative.

Find the right records, verify authority proportionately, and respond to privacy rights requests.

The Studio and providers needed to deliver the request or locate the records.

Legal obligation for applicable statutory requests (Article 6(1)(c)); legitimate interests in answering other privacy inquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).

Maximum 12 months after resolution for case correspondence. Unnecessary verification material and information subject to earlier deletion requirements are removed sooner.

Game activity and feedback: Roblox username and user ID, join and leave events, relevant event times, gameplay or behavior records, and suggestions you submit.

Activity in our Roblox experiences and feedback you send.

Provide the experience, investigate bugs, understand game use, and answer feedback.

The Studio, Roblox, Discord where Studio moderation or operational webhooks are used, and Studio administrative systems used for the stated game functions.

Contract performance only for processing necessary to provide an experience under an applicable agreement with us (Article 6(1)(b)); legitimate interests for necessary operation and improvement (Article 6(1)(f)). See the children's restrictions.

General game logs and feedback: maximum 3 months from creation; delete sooner when no longer needed or legally required.

Chat records: in-game message content, associated Roblox username or user ID, and relevant event or report details.

Messages and reports within our experiences.

Moderate chat, investigate reports, and protect players.

The Studio, Roblox, Discord where moderation webhooks are used, and Studio moderation systems.

Legitimate interests in player safety and moderation (Article 6(1)(f)); contract performance only for processing strictly needed to provide an agreed communication feature. COPPA requires a separate assessment for children.

General chat logs: maximum 3 months from creation. Stored chat content is not treated as covered by COPPA's persistent-identifier internal-operations exception.

Anti-cheat and security records: associated Roblox identifiers, suspicious gameplay or behavior events, and relevant investigation or enforcement details.

Security checks and reports concerning our experiences.

Prevent cheating, protect players and services, and investigate abuse.

The Studio, Roblox, Discord where security or moderation webhooks are used, and Studio security systems.

Legitimate interests in service integrity and player safety (Article 6(1)(f)). This does not replace any required parental consent or other child-privacy protection.

Maximum 6 months from creation, and less where the security purpose ends sooner or law requires deletion.

Public credits or attributed material: a name, username, credit, or quotation where it is included in published website content.

Material supplied or approved for publication and other identified public sources.

Publish accurate studio and game information and credit its contributors.

Website visitors and independent services that copy or index public pages.

Legitimate interests in accurate publication and attribution (Article 6(1)(f)); consent where required for the particular publication.

For the period the material is appropriately published, subject to correction or removal rights. External copies are controlled by their publishers, not by our operational-log deadlines.

3. Cookies and browser storage

3.1 Saved preferences

The four functional cookies remember your theme, motion setting, chosen language, and acknowledgment of the cookie notice. Their maximum requested lifetime is 180 days from a choice or migration of an existing saved choice. Viewing a page or reading a cookie does not extend that deadline.

This update moves valid older preferences to the shorter lifetime once when the updated website runs in your browser, then removes the older cookies. Your browser may block cookies or delete them sooner. An automatically detected browser language or display setting is not saved as a new preference without your choice.

Closing the cookie notice without acknowledging it hides it for the current page without saving an acknowledgment. Neither action enables advertising or unrelated processing.

3.2 Your controls

Use your browser's site-data settings to inspect, block, or delete cookies and other stored website data. Preferences may be forgotten after deletion. Browser cookies can accompany website requests; other browser storage is not automatically attached in the same way.

The website does not use local or session storage for runtime translation because runtime third-party translation has been removed. Ordinary browser caching of public images or pages is separate from a personal account record.

4. Language and localization

4.1 No runtime third-party translation

The website does not send page text, your IP address, or other visitor information to a runtime third-party machine-translation provider. Choosing a language changes which published version of the website you request; it does not trigger a separate translation-service request.

Localized text is prepared and checked before publication. The language selector lists published editions. If your browser requests a language the website does not support, the website chooses a supported language or English; you can change that choice at any time.

4.2 Localization does not create a visitor profile

Preparing localized website copy is a publishing activity, not visitor tracking. Development or editorial tools may be used by the Studio to prepare public translations before publication, but those tools are not part of a visitor's browsing session and do not receive visitor cookies, browsing history, Roblox records, or private correspondence through the website.

5. Roblox experiences and game records

5.1 Records and purposes

Our game records may include Roblox usernames and user IDs, join and leave events, in-game chat, gameplay or behavior information, anti-cheat and security records, and feedback you submit. We use these records for the specific game, support, moderation, and safety purposes in the table.

Studio-held game and moderation records are currently transmitted through Discord webhooks for operational and moderation purposes. Studio administrative systems may also be used to manage those records. These systems remain subject to the retention limits and privacy-request procedures in this policy.

Routine game operation and security decisions may involve automated checks. The website's display preferences do not make decisions about access to employment, credit, insurance, or similar matters. Contact us about a particular Studio game record or moderation decision; we will explain available review rights without exposing other players' information or security-sensitive details.

5.2 Roblox information and Studio copies

Roblox controls its account services, purchases, and platform information under its own privacy arrangements. Contact Roblox for records it holds independently. Contact us for Studio-held copies, including game logs. We do not reject a deletion request simply because the information came from Roblox.

6. Children under 13 and parental requests

6.1 Limits on the internal-operations exception

Some of our Roblox experiences are available to users under 13; availability and audience settings vary by experience. We may store Studio-held Roblox identifiers, moderation records, chat records, and security or anti-cheat records for the purposes described in this policy.

COPPA's Support for Internal Operations exception is narrow. We rely on it only where its conditions are met: the information collected under that exception is a persistent identifier and no other personal information, and it is used only for permitted internal operations such as protecting security or integrity, maintaining the service, or preventing abuse. We do not treat stored chat content or other additional personal information as automatically covered by that exception.

Where COPPA requires verifiable parental consent for a particular Studio collection from a child under 13, or where another specific COPPA exception is needed, that requirement must be satisfied for that collection. Roblox's own account-level protections do not automatically make every separate Studio-held copy exempt from COPPA.

6.2 How a parent can request access or removal

Email contact@lowqualityinteractive.com. You can use the subject Parent privacy request, but special wording is not required. State that you are the parent or guardian and whether you want access, deletion, or to stop further collection or use.

Include the child's Roblox username or user ID, the experience name, and enough detail to locate the relevant record. Do not send the child's password, home address, school information, or identity documents with the initial request.

We can locate and delete Studio-held records using the relevant Roblox account and experience information. After proportionate verification of parental authority, we will review the Studio-held records and remove applicable copies from Studio-controlled moderation, webhook, and administrative records, subject to any specific legal preservation requirement.

If we learn that a child's information was collected without required permission, we stop the affected processing and delete Studio-controlled copies unless a specific legal requirement prevents deletion. Children's information is removed sooner than the general maximum periods when its purpose ends or law requires it.

7. How long information is kept

7.1 Support and privacy correspondence

We permanently delete Studio-controlled support emails, privacy inquiries, attachments, and related copies no later than 12 months after resolution, unless a legal obligation requires further preservation. Resolution means our final response has been sent and any agreed action is complete. If a matter is genuinely reopened, the period runs from its final resolution.

Our Studio email service is provided through Porkbun. The 12-month commitment applies to copies we control through that service, including sent and deleted-items copies that remain under our control. Unneeded identity-verification material is deleted sooner. The maximum period does not override a valid earlier deletion request or a child-privacy requirement.

7.2 Game and operational records

General game logs, including joins, leaves, chat, and feedback, are kept for up to 3 months from creation. Anti-cheat and security logs are kept for up to 6 months from creation. These are maximum limits, not a reason to keep every record for the full period.

Any Studio-held copy of website delivery, error, or operational logs is deleted within 30 days of creation unless legal preservation is required. The website does not maintain a separate visitor-log database. Saved cookies last at most 180 days. The website does not perform runtime third-party translation.

7.3 Provider records and legally required preservation

Our deletion deadlines cover information we control. We cannot promise the same deadlines for records that Cloudflare, Roblox, Discord, Porkbun, or another independent provider holds. Their retention settings and contractual obligations must be assessed separately; this policy does not claim a verified duration for every provider log.

Where a legal obligation requires longer preservation, we retain only the affected information, limit its use to that obligation, and delete it within 30 days after the preservation requirement ends unless a shorter deadline applies. We do not extend all other records because one matter is subject to preservation.

Names and credits intentionally included in public website content are kept for the appropriate publication period rather than treated as operational logs. You may request correction or removal. Independent search engines and archives may hold their own copies after we change a page.

8. Providers, external links, and disclosures

8.1 Operational recipients

Cloudflare delivers and protects the website. Porkbun provides the Studio's email service. Roblox operates the platform on which our experiences run. Discord receives Studio game, moderation, or security information where our Discord webhooks are used. Authorized Studio administrative systems may also hold information needed for support, moderation, or security.

We may disclose specific information where a valid legal obligation requires it or a justified legal or safety purpose permits it. We do not give unrestricted access to personal information merely because a request mentions security or law enforcement.

8.2 Other websites and public content

Links to Roblox, Discord, YouTube, X, and other services take you to independent platforms. A link does not automatically embed a video, chat widget, or advertising tracker. Once you follow it, that provider handles the activity under its own arrangements.

Public posts, credits, and game information can be copied or indexed. Do not post private documents or a child's personal details in a public channel to make a privacy request. Use the privacy email address instead. Publishing general website content does not make private messages or game records public.

9. International processing and transfer safeguards

9.1 Processing locations and mechanisms

Our operations are in the United States. Cloudflare, Porkbun, Roblox, Discord, and other services used to deliver the website, email, or game functions may process information in the United States or other countries. Those countries may provide different privacy protections from your country.

Cloudflare's published Data Processing Addendum identifies the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension for eligible transfers and also provides the European Commission's 2021 Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum for applicable restricted transfers. These mechanisms apply according to the agreement, certification, transfer scope, and legal conditions covering the processing.

Porkbun's published privacy policy states that it uses appropriate international-transfer safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or permitted derogations as applicable. Discord states that it uses the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses for applicable transfers. Roblox states that it uses valid international-transfer mechanisms, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

9.2 What these provider statements do and do not establish

These provider statements describe their published transfer mechanisms. They do not mean that Low Quality Interactive is itself Data Privacy Framework-certified, and they do not prove that every possible transfer or service configuration is covered by the same mechanism. Where a restricted transfer requires a specific agreement or safeguard, the Studio must use the mechanism that actually applies to that service and transfer.

The website does not send visitor information to a runtime third-party machine-translation service, so there is no visitor translation transfer to justify. Email contact@lowqualityinteractive.com if you want information about the safeguard associated with a particular Studio-held record or provider.

10. Your rights, requests, and response deadlines

10.1 How to make a request

Email contact@lowqualityinteractive.com to ask about information we hold. Explain what you want us to do and identify the relevant email conversation, page, Roblox account, or experience. You may tell us your country or state to help identify applicable rights. You do not need a website account or a lawyer.

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of covered sale, targeted advertising, or significant profiling. Withdrawal does not change the lawfulness of earlier consent-based processing.

We may ask for limited information to verify your identity or a representative's authority. We do not ask for passwords. We protect other people's information when responding and normally provide rights responses without charge. Any lawful fee or refusal must be explained.

10.2 GDPR and UK GDPR deadlines

For requests covered by the EU or UK GDPR, we respond without undue delay and normally within one calendar month of receiving the request. This is a calendar month, not a fixed 30-day period. Where the law permits an extension because of complexity or the number of requests, we may take up to two further months and explain the reason within the initial month.

Any lawful adjustment for necessary identity checks or clarification is applied only where the relevant law allows it, not as an automatic extension for every request. If we refuse a covered request, we explain the reason and available complaint options within the required period.

10.3 U.S. state deadlines and appeals

For privacy requests covered by an applicable U.S. state privacy law, we respond without undue delay and within 45 calendar days after receipt unless that law requires a shorter period. If the applicable law permits an extension, we may extend the response once by up to another 45 days and explain the reason within the initial response period.

If an applicable state privacy law gives you a right to appeal our decision, email the same address and identify our earlier response. We will provide a written appeal decision and explanation within 60 days after receipt unless the applicable law requires a shorter period. If the law requires us to provide a regulator or complaint route after a denied appeal, we will provide it.

You can also complain to the relevant privacy regulator or consumer-protection authority, including a European supervisory authority or the UK Information Commissioner where appropriate. Contacting us first is not a condition of using an independent legal remedy. We do not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10.4 Browser privacy signals

The website does not currently change its behavior in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. We do not sell personal information or run website targeted advertising that must first be switched off. We must still honor a legally binding opt-out signal where it applies to actual processing. External platforms handle their own signals and settings.

11. Security and reporting problems

11.1 Protection and limits

The website uses HTTPS and browser restrictions intended to reduce unsafe content execution and unauthorized framing. We apply security checks when publishing updates. No website, email account, device, or provider can be guaranteed secure.

Report a suspected privacy or security problem to contact@lowqualityinteractive.com. Describe the affected service and issue without sending unnecessary sensitive information. A report does not authorize access to another person's records. We provide any legally required incident notices according to the facts and applicable deadlines.

12. Changes to this policy

12.1 Updates and your rights

We update the date at the top when we revise this policy. We provide additional notice or seek permission when a change requires it. Simply continuing to browse does not mean you consent to a new use of previously collected information.

This policy does not waive your privacy rights, impose arbitration, or claim regulatory approval. If any wording conflicts with a mandatory legal protection, that protection still applies. Contact us for a direct explanation of anything unclear.

13. Contact information

13.1 Official privacy channel

Low Quality Interactive operates as an independent developer group in the United States. Use contact@lowqualityinteractive.com for privacy inquiries, parental requests, and rights requests.

Use email rather than a public community post for private information. If a valid request reaches us through another channel, we handle it as required by law rather than rejecting it only because it was sent elsewhere.

Where applicable law requires additional operator contact information or another request method for a particular service, that information or method must be provided through the notice or channel required for that service. This policy does not replace a service-specific notice required by law.
